Using cutting edge 3D computer graphic imaging and CAD/CAM technology, Invisalign® pruduces series of custom-made, removable and transparent overlays called “aligners” to straighten teeth. These aligners are worn 22 hours per day. Each aligner is worn for 2 weeks prior to being replaced by the next aligner in the series. The teeth will move from initial to final position incrementally. Invisalign is an attractive alternative to traditional “wire-and-bracket” braces. As the aligners are transparent and difficult to detect when worn, even esthetically conscious adults can get dazzling smiles without the embarrassment of metal braces.
The aligners are comfortable to wear and can be easily removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing, thus maintaining meticulous oral hygiene.
Please consult your orthodontist for Invisalign treatment. The duration of treatment depends on the complexity of your malocclusion, The cost of Invisalign treatment is generally comparable or higher than traditional braces.
