Linear Z is the latest high intensity focused ultrasound skin tightening technology. It employs LIFU (Linear Intensity Focused Ultrasound) technology and Bulk Heating technology, combining a unique design of point and linear energy delivery to provide precise treatments targeting different skin layers and areas, breaking through the limitations of traditional HIFU. Linear Z has been certified by the Korean FDA (MFDS) and is widely used in non-invasive aesthetic procedures such as facial lifting, collagen regeneration, and fat control, allowing customers to experience youthful, firm, and plump skin effects in a short time.
Linear Z’s core technologies, LIFU and Bulk Heating, can precisely deliver energy to different layers of the skin, heating the underlying tissues to 75°C, promoting deep collagen regeneration, thereby improving skin quality and reshaping contours. Linear Z provides more uniform heat transfer during the treatment process, effectively enhancing treatment efficiency while reducing the risk of burns. The core advantage of Linear Z lies in its customized design, which offers tailored treatment plans based on the individual skin conditions and needs, reshaping a youthful facial contour.
Linear Z features two energy transfer modes: Dot Mode and Linear Mode, which can be flexibly adjusted according to the skin needs of the client：
Dot Mode: Suitable for focused treatment requiring precise operation on small areas, such as around the eyes and forehead.
Linear Mode: Applicable for larger treatment areas, capable of covering more treatment zones at once, such as the face, neck, and body.
This dual-mode design allows Linear Z to achieve both precise treatment and efficient energy delivery simultaneously.
Linear Z is equipped with various cartridges that can be adjusted for different facial depths, covering a treatment range from 1.5mm to 6.0mm, corresponding to different skin layer needs：
BASIC Cartridge (1.5mm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm): Targets the dermis and superficial fat layers.
ESSENTIAL Cartridge (also targeting 1.5mm to 3.0mm): Further optimizes treatment of the dermis.
CORE Cartridge (4.5mm and 6.0mm): Acts on the fascia layer and deep fat.
These cartridges not only cover multi-layer treatment needs but also enable precise energy output based on the skin thickness of different areas. Before treatment, doctors will use real-time ultrasound to examine the deep skin structure, providing personalized and precise treatment for various skin layers.
Linear Z’s 4 UP Technology targets enhancement in contours, elasticity, volume, and slimness, achieving a more comprehensive and ideal cosmetic effect.
Line Up (Contour Enhancement): Through the transmission of energy from the device, it lifts the skin and tightens the contours, improving the sagging and relaxation of facial lines.

Ultherapy® is a safe and well-established non-invasive ultrasound-based skin lifting and tightening technology. Ultherapy’s “spot” focused ultrasound produces a thermal effect beneath the skin’s surface, bypassing the skin’s top layer. It precisely and stably delivers energy at 65°C, concentrated into very fine thermal points.
The focused ultrasound energy can reach as deep as 4.5mm below the skin’s surface, targeting the fat and connective tissue layer known as the SMAS, which is comparable to the treatment depth of a surgical facelift. This delivers an optimal skin tightening and lifting effect, while also stimulating new collagen production to provide dual support for the skin and underlying muscles.
Ultherapy utilizes micro-focused ultrasound energy to deliver optimal heat deep into the skin’s foundation, triggering the body’s natural regenerative response to promote increased collagen production. Ultherapy can be used to improve skin laxity in multiple areas, including brow lifting, reduction of eye wrinkles, tightening of the jawline and cheeks, improvement of the jawline contour, reduction of the double chin, lifting of the neck, fading of neck lines, and diminishing of upper chest wrinkles, helping to create a more youthful appearance.
Ultracel Q+ is the fastest HIFU treatment technology. Equipped with a new Linear Probe, the treatment speed is extremely fast – it can deliver 300 “linear” focused ultrasound energy pulses in less than 3 minutes. This creates “thermal coagulation lines” deep within the skin, improving the underlying supportive structures, including the SMAS. Compared to other HIFU technologies on the market, Ultracel Q+ Linear treatments are relatively less painful, making it suitable for clients sensitive to pain.
In addition to skin tightening and wrinkle reduction, the Ultracel Q+ Linear can create a web-like pattern of ultrasound lifting lines in the SMAS layer, achieving results comparable to a surgical facelift. This makes it particularly effective for treating areas with skin laxity and thickness, such as the face and neck.

Ultherapy® has more established clinical application and research backing, while the Ultracel Q+ Linear treatment is relatively less painful and faster in treatment.
