CLARITY is a multi-functional medical laser device that combines a dual-wavelength platform of long-pulse 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG lasers. This versatile and fast-acting system is designed to address a wide range of skin concerns effectively.
The device can effectively address a wide range of skin concerns, providing tailored solutions for each individual patient’s needs, including skin brightening and rejuvenation, skin tightening and lifting, pore refinement, pigmentation and vascular concerns and unwanted hair removal.
The treatment begins with the use of a low-energy 755nm laser, which is repeatedly scanned over the skin surface. This helps to break down melanin pigments while stimulating skin metabolism, gradually improving various pigmentation concerns.
Next, the high-energy, long-pulse 1064nm collagen-stimulating laser is utilized. The laser is scanned across the skin, heating the deeper dermal layers. By adjusting the laser’s pulse width, this technology can target different depths within the skin.
The thermal effects of the laser promote the tightening and reorganization of collagen fibers in the deeper skin layers. This increases the overall collagen content within the skin, improving its elasticity and leading to a more lifted, firmer appearance.
The system also incorporates a specialized pore-tightening program, which further enhances the deep-tissue heating. This helps to contract the sebaceous glands, thereby effectively controlling oil production in areas like the nose and forehead. As a result, the pores appear more refined and minimized.
The laser energy emitted by the Clarity system is precisely targeted to address various layers and levels of abnormal skin vascularity.
The laser penetrates deep into the skin, reaching the areas that are densely populated with blood vessels. It then tracks and identifies the hemoglobin within these blood vessels. When the hemoglobin absorbs the laser energy, it causes an instant spike in temperature, leading to the formation of vapor bubbles.
These bubbles rapidly expand and then implode, creating a vacuum-like effect. This causes the abnormal blood vessels to contract, coagulate, and ultimately become occluded and destroyed. The body then metabolizes and eliminates these damaged vessels over time, resulting in the desired treatment outcome.
This process is highly effective in addressing both facial telangiectasias (dilated capillaries) and problematic leg veins.
The laser hair removal treatment utilizes the 755nm/1064nm long-pulse laser wavelengths, which are selectively absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair. This absorption causes an instant spike in temperature within the hair follicle.
The intense heat generated by the laser effectively damages and destroys the hair follicle structure, causing the hair to wither and fall out without harming the surrounding skin tissue.
The treatment incorporates an advanced integrated cooling system (ICD) or air cooling function to protect the skin from thermal damage, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for the patient.
After a single treatment session, the patient can expect to see an average reduction of 20-30% in actively growing hair. With a series of 6-10 treatments, the hair growth can be reduced by up to 90%, resulting in a near-permanent hair removal effect.
Most patients are highly satisfied with the results of the Clarity laser hair removal treatment. The remaining hairs become significantly finer and lighter in color, no longer appearing as prominent or causing issues like ingrown hairs.
